Willie Ames
Once in a lifetime does a man come along with the acting diversity of Willie Ames. From the quirky, clutzy Buddy Lembeck on Charles in Charge, to serving Jesus Christ himself in Bibleman, Willie Ames has done it all. Inspiring the likes of Tom Cruise, Ben Affleck, and Matt Damon, Willie took us beyond our own imaginations and into a world of sheer nirvana.
After making his presence into the acting world on Eight is Enough, he finally broke through to super stardom on the hit comedy series Charles in Charge. Alongside fellow heartthrob Scott Baio, Willie launched this comedy to elite status, and a permanent home in sitcom lore.
“The Aamester” as the ladies liked to call him, needed to be constantly surrounded by security to keep the hoards of women from him. This made his love life difficult, and he turned to his fellow co-stars Nicole Eggert and Josie Davis for frequent orgies in his dressing room. It is rumored that the two females often fought on the set over Willie’s affection.
Fast forward to 1999, when Willie took the guidance of Christ to become Bibleman, and teach our youth about Christianity. This role further adds fuel to the theory that Willie Ames was Jesus Christ himself.
Willie Ames, wherever you are, we thank you. You were more than just the wacky neighbor who screwed everything up and could never quite land a date with the Pi Delta Phi sisters. You were someone who could pull off a hot pink button up shirt, which makes you more of a man than I. You are our daily hero.

My three year old grandson’s birthday is in early June. I was wondering how I could request an autographed picture of Bible Man. This is his favorite show and I know he would just love a picture. THank you for your anticipated cooperation.
