Christopher Walken

Christopher Walken
(b. March 31st, 1943- )

The most versatile and creative man in Hollywood is hands down, Christopher Walken.  His legendary range of skills, which some have even called heroic, have propelled him to mythic heights as an actor and dancer.

We were first drawn in by his boyish good looks as a brother in Annie Hall, but he really tugged on our heart strings as a Vietnam vet making a living playing Russian Roulette in The Deer Hunter.  Christopher Walken’s list of films is disgustingly long and rightly so, not many other actors can slide in and out of roles.  Some say that only Lon “Man of a Thousand Faces” Chaney, and Jim Carrey rival him as actors with excellent facial expression, but I say they don’t even hold a candle to Walken’s raw and mesmerizing talent.

Although most remember him immediately for his parts in Mouse Hunt and The Prophecy III: The Ascent, and The Country Bears, it is important not to forget his lesser-known roles.

The Dead Zone (1983) - A schoolteacher named Johnny Smith awakes from a five-year coma to discover he has the psychic ability to tell the future.

The King of New York (1990) - Frank White, a powerful drug dealer is release from prison, and with the help of only a few compatriots, takes over the New York underworld by wiping out all other crime bosses.
Memorable line: “Ah ha ha ha ha aaaaaa You know how I love Mon-ay”- Frank White

Batman Returns (1992) - Max Shreck and evil multimillionaire who hates Batman.

True Romance (1993) - Vincenzo Coccotti, a Sicilian crime boss who hates Christian Slater.
Memorable line: “You’re a cantaloupe.” - Vincenzo Coccotti

Pulp Fiction (1994) - Captain Koons, a Vietnam Vet (I told you he was versatile) who hid a special watch up his ass for two years so that it could be brought home to his war buddy’s son.  (His father had already hid it up his ass for 5 years bringing the watch in ass time to a total of seven years)

editors note This story was based on Walken’s real experiences of hiding watches up his ass.

Fatboy Slim - Weapon Of Choice Music Video- Plays and dances as himself all over the walls and what have you

Saturday Night Live - Behind the Music: Blue Oyster Cult - Plays Bruce Dickinson the legendary rock producer who was the producer for BOC’s “Don’t Fear the Reaper”
Memorable Line: “Guess what? I got a fever! And the only prescription.. is more cowbell!”
